Night tours do not run all year. The dates open in windows that vary by month, so a night you want may simply not be on sale.
Hours can also change at short notice. The Italian Ministry of Culture closed the whole Colosseum Archaeological Park from 10:30am on 23 September 2026 until the end of opening hours on 25 September 2026. Check the opening hours guide close to your date.
What a night tour includes
Night listings come in several formats. Some are a short express visit. Others add the underground and the arena floor, and one opens with a glass of prosecco.
The formats do not match each other, so read each listing's inclusions. Two checks matter most: whether underground access is part of it, and whether the Forum and Palatine Hill are.

What a night tour costs
Night tours are guided products, so they cost more than the official adult price of about EUR 18. A version with underground access costs more again.
