How to get to the Colosseum

Metro
Take Metro Line B to the Colosseo stop. It opens directly onto Piazza del Colosseo, Rome, Italy, a short walk from the ticket entrance.
Other transport
Tram 3 stops right at the Colosseum on its route between Villa Giulia and San Giovanni. Several ATAC bus routes also serve Piazza del Colosseo, but the exact numbers shift often enough that repeating a specific list here risks sending you to the wrong stop.
